My name is Dayra Lucía but you can call me Lu, I'm a Peruvian photographer based in Seattle with a background in graphic design and a lifelong love for visual storytelling.

Even as a kid, I was drawn to the magic of capturing  moments.

My mom would often find unexpected photos I’d taken when she developed our family’s film rolls. They were tiny windows into the way I saw the world.

 

Today, I create small, cinematic worlds through photography spaces where you can feel seen, powerful, and fully yourself. Whether I’m crafting intimate boudoir sessions where you are the main character, or photographing products with purpose and style, my work is all about intentionality, emotion, and connection.

 

Beyond the studio, I also capture real, joy-filled moments such as weddings, maternity sessions, baby showers, and events that celebrate life and love. I’m endlessly inspired by the beauty in people simply being ~ laughing, dancing, holding hands, or just lost in the moment. That’s what I love to preserve.
